Bud was one of my best friends. We met many years ago in Boy Scouts and shared many moments in our lives. He was always the first to offer encouraging words when someone was in need and was more than helpful to friends and strangers alike. He met many of my friends in college and he shared many memorable times with them. They have all expressed their condolences and shared their memories of him with me.
I will miss him very much and am sure that he will be received into the next phase with open arms.

Peace be with you my friend.

Hello Family , I am saden by your loss. Although I might know most of you, I am thousands of miles away, and cannot be there. I will say this.... Every day that I was around Buddy, it was fun. He never would skip to something else without listening to you. Bud was not only a friend, but my go to guy with the motorhome. He gave his blessings to the one I have now. So I know that he is with me. And will make this Coach get back to P.Y. at some point. Again I am sorry. God Bless. Steve Buck. I will miss him dearly.

My brother and I were visiting Penn Yan from Connecticut in 2011 and since our grandfather worked at Tones' Garage until his death in 1949, we dropped in to say "hi." We were immediately made part of the family during our brief visit. It is a shock to lose Bud at such a young age. He was a wonderful person. My deepest sympathies go to his family and loved ones.
