Alberto Gutierrez Ortiz, of Round Rock, TX, passed away on Sunday, April 19th, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on July 25th, 1956, in Fort Stockton, TX, and grew up in Crane, TX. Albert worked for many years as an electrician in the Austin area. Albert is survived by his wife, Susie; his brother, Roy; his sister, Maria; his sons, Albert and Chris; his daughter-in-law, Katherine; and four grandchildren, Lila, Sophia, Elyssa, and Landon, whom he loved very much. He is preceded in death by his parents, Heriberto and Micaela Ortiz, his brother Chevo Moralez, and his sister Norma Quezada.
Pallbearers will be Jason, Ryan, Freddy, Michael, Justin, Adrian, Ivvan, and Roland. Honorary pallbearers are Jessie, Jimmy, and Bill.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Cook-Walden Capital Parks on Sunday, May 3rd, from 4-8pm, with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 4th, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Austin at 10am.
