She was born on June 9, 1959, in Eagle Pass, Texas and later moved to Austin, Texas to attend St. Edward’s University. Ana was retired from Farmers Insurance Group. She was actively involved in End Stage Renal Disease Patient Advocacy, sewing, gardening, playing video games, spoiling her grand-doggies, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ana is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Rodriguez; mother, Minerva Lopez; father, Anacleto Lopez; and her brother, Anacleto “JR” Lopez.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer Perez (and husband Patrick); brother, Sergio Lopez; sisters, Leticia Lopez and Rebecca Lopez-Aviles; nieces, Gabriela Smith (and husband Connor) and Gisela Aviles; and nephew, Maximo Aviles.
The family would like to thank the team at Satellite Healthcare Dialysis Clinic in Kyle, Texas for the care and compassion shown to Ana when she was a patient in their care.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on July 16, 2026, at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main Street, Buda, Texas 78610.
