Helen is survived by her daughters, Donna Fiebig of Cedar Park, Luanne Sherman and husband Hub of Manor. Helen was honored to have 6 grandchildren, Lance Cox and wife Kristen, Chad Fiebig and wife Kristen, Amy Burch and husband Jason, Clay Fiebig and wife Ally, Clinton Caudle and wife Jahdiel and Casey Caudle, as well as 10 great grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Cox, daughter Linda Cox, brother Walter Beeson as well as her parents Edward and Edna Beeson.
Helen was born on June 12, 1932 in the East Texas town of Crockett. After moving around Texas as a child, with her parents, they eventually settled in Manor where she graduated from Manor High School in 1949. Manor is where Helen met her husband Aubrey and raised their family. Helen held several jobs early in their marriage but the job she was most proud of was being a mother. Mee Maw, as most knew her, had an amazing love for her family and loved having them around as much as possible. The one thing Mee Maw loved to do with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids was to teach them how to lose a game, gracefully, and if you ever played "Pente" with Mee Maw you know what we are talking about. Helen and Aubrey found a home at Eternal Faith Baptist Church, in Manor, where she enjoyed her Sunday school class as well as playing Bunco.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the owners and staff at Knights Assisted Living, in Pflugerville, for caring for our Mee Maw over the last year. Also, the family asks that you make a donation to your local hospice in lieu of flowers.
An intimate graveside service is planned at Cook Walden/Capital Parks for Saturday October 31, 2015 at 2:30pm. All are welcome to join the family and celebrate Helen’s joyous life.
