I am a work colleague and friend of Mr. Brown's son Lawrence. I extend my deepest condolences to the Brown family on this profound loss. While I never had an opportunity to meet Mr. Larry Brown, Lawrence has his kind eyes, and it is evident from the many moving tributes and family photos, that Mr. Brown was blessed to have had a rich, beautiful life, well-lived and filled with with love. Be comforted by the lifetime of memories you have of Mr. Brown's incredible sojourn on this earth and his spirit that will live on.

Rest in heaven Mr Brown. I have so many fond memories of you you a really good friend . It was an honor to be one of the people that got to care for you.I will never forget how many times we shared recipes and we cooked. Getting to know you're beautiful family. Listening to you talk about them and love you had for them was really amazing. I know you're in God's hands now and I know you're suffering here on Earth is through I will miss you . This is not goodbye this is I'll see you later.

Larry was the closest thing to an angel in human form that I have ever met. In fact, I told my children he was my guardian angel. I met Larry when I was 7 years old, he almost ran over my mom crossing the street. My parents were homeless and addicts. He got them the help they needed and bought food and clothes for my brother and I. If not for him, we might not have had those things. He continued to be there for me into my adulthood and helped me become the woman I  am today. You will truly be missed Larry Brown. I love you.

 In schoplaying mudick, he's he's playing drums. I'm planning trumpet. Right there and then we became. I was a connection with music. And love a playing music, then we graduated.
 The meal lost contact. But you never lose contact with a person you come in contact with who loves the things you love and I was music. 1 day down in Vegas, he was on my mind when I was at my daughter's houso I looked up his number. Who's name and got in contact with her? I was surprised.
 And we start talking and then we just start reconnecting together again and call each other once a week ago.  About the past playing music and all the things we did.
 There is this one song that we always played at. His parents' house was Cisco kid coaches Mayfield.
 But we understand one thing that.  We never really lost that connection.
 But I believe that God brings us back together to know and to get to know each other over again. Even though in our lives we've been having health struggles and pain with myself. I can say that.  Visualize and have the same problem. So I'm speaking through a mic cause I'm not able to type.
 I'm so sorry to hear about Larry. Because we were just talking about 3 weeks ago. Larry told me he was recovering from an operation and he told me he'd get back with me.So sorry But we talked and he was cheerful even we couldn't say much but. I'm just, I'm just so proud of Larry brown because he showed a good example of a Christian brother though he was going through.
 He never got down on yourself.  And that lets me know a lot that I shouldn't be down on myself. Cause of my condition, but we laughed about good old days growing up. It's just like I never.  Miss them when we connect it back together again. 
Family, just remember, Larry Brown, your dad. He is in God's hand.

Larry loved to his family and those around him.
He also loved his mother in law Sixta Rodriguez  her boldness and her sence of humor if something was price to high never fail to express her thoughts.
 
 I remember  Larry  took mom to western auto  bought her a refrigerator & a record players for one of my youngest sister Claudia whom we all know and loved especially Larry  name Choochee.
Larry loved Choochee and her humor of life. We will miss him,  I know he is with Jesus, mom  Franny playing in heaven with his band he loved  called The Good Words .

I just learned of your passing my dear friend and brother in Christ. This was a very hard blow, because I just talked to you last week. However to your family, I am sorry for your loss. You know we know tomorrow is promise to NO one.

Our Great God makes no mistakes. There is an old gospel song that I am reminded of as a kid. 'Soon we will all be done with the troubles of this old world 🌎✝️ ' Mr. Brown was a nice joyful man that loved to have fun. My heart ❤️ is very saddened and heavy. In this life we do not know from day to day who God calls next. Our faith is where we have to rely on . I know life can be confusing, but I heard my Great grandmother said : God is able to see us though. In my closing. Please feel free to call on me if you need help. 2: Corinthians 12:9 States my Grace is sufficient for thee. Please take care, And may God bless the Browns......🙏🙏✝️🛐😓

Larry bought Lawrence his first suit and tie (shown in the photo). In 1995, he earned six academic awards after recovering from a serious accident where he was struck by a car at the beginning of the school year.

Here, Larry proudly celebrates Kasandra's scholastic achievement--graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in front of his home at 8005 Creekmere Lane. He is joined by his granddaughters, Ashley Brown and Aleighyanah Washington.

The brown AMC Hornet coupe at the top left was Larry's car and the first car that Lawrence has a memory of. He remembers the floor in the backset rusted so you could see down to the street.

I am so very grateful for all the encouragement Papa Brown gave to me and my sons (his grandsons). He was a constant source of inspiration. He left a powerful, positive legacy of kindness to others, service to others, and spreading thoughtful wisdom.

Mr. Brown, AKA ,Downtown Brown as he was known to us at dialysis will be truly missed. He was such a great person and a welcome ray of sunshine to all of us. He always had a kind word and a huge willingness to help others. May you rest in peace and may your family find comfort and peace.
