Mark never met a stranger and had a way of turning any gathering into a celebration. Known for his endless “dad jokes” and quick wit, he loved making people laugh and bringing smiles to those around him.
He also had a passion for cooking and was a master of the grill, always making more than enough to share with friends, family, and even the dogs—who could always count on him for a special treat.
Mark especially loved his dog, Sadie, and took every opportunity to bring her along and show her off.
Above all, Mark cherished the many adventures he shared with the love of his life, his wife, Tracy.
Mark and Tracy built a life rooted in adventure and deep companionship. Whether they were traveling to new places or simply enjoying time together, they made every moment count. Their journey together was full of laughter, stories, and a kind of love that was easy to see and impossible to miss. Tracy was truly the love of his life, and being by her side was where Mark was happiest.
Mark loved his family. He was incredibly proud to be a husband, father, brother, and grandfather, and he loved each of them unconditionally.
Mark was born in Germany on August 7, 1959, to Jack and Hiroko Jones, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy Jones; his children and their significant others, Ryan Jones; Carol Mansell; Sarah and Jason Wollitz; Matthew and Renee Jones; James Jones; Kaylee Jones and Chayton Boyd; and Preston Jones. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, Sheree and Gary Evans; Debbie and Ron Fettes; Gary and Loretta Jones; and Kenneth Jones, along with his cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mark will be deeply missed, but the love, laughter, and memories he created will live on in all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held in late May, with details to be announced at a later date.
