Ray Sepulveda

Ray was surrounded by his devoted wife, Elida Sepulveda of 33 yrs, as well as many loving family and friends when he passed.

Born in Weslaco Texas December 17,1944,

he shared his childhood with his sisters and brothers under the care of their loving mother.

Ray was a hard working, honest, dedicated man who served the City of Austin as an Austin Energy Employee until retirement. His commitment to his work reflected the dependable and responsible traits he carried through all aspects of his life.

Ray enjoyed building, repairing, restoring and finding solutions to almost any problem. One of his proudest accomplishments was building his own custom workshop. It was a real reflection of his skills and love for his craft. Sports was also a passion for Ray. Spending time with his family while watching games and cheering for his favorite teams, are moments that will be remembered and cherished forever. "Hook Em Horns" and "How bout them Cowboys" were two of his favorite phrases.

Above all, Ray was a man of deep faith who devoted himself to God. His faith

guided him through life and gave him strength during both joyful and difficult times. He demonstrated his beliefs through way of life, prayer, bible study, and praising the word of God. He enjoyed passing it on to those blessed enough to cross his path

Ray will be remembered as a strong, hardworking, and faithful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

His strength, devotion, and love for his family will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but the home he built, the family he raised, the wisdom he shared, and the faith he carried, will continue on through his legacy.
