Sandra (Sandy) Gail Jones, 63, died at 9:01am, Saturday, May 7, 2016. Sandra was born on December 3, 1953 in Austin, Texas to Edwin and Geraldine Wrubel. She was a very strong, stubborn, gentle but direct woman with an amazing sense of humor. She loved her family, friends and those she came in contact with her would say she would light up a room with her smile.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Alton Jones; two sons, Dale Wrubel and wife Kristen, and Michael Jones; four grandchildren, CarolAnn Wrubel, Ainslee Stone, Edwin Wrubel and Mason Wrubel; sister, Kathy Marx; three nieces; Kimberly Bertke, Patricia Cubias and Kelly Marx; four nephews; Randall Marx, Jeff Jones, Jon Jones and Jeremy Jones.
She is preceded in death by father; Edwin Wrubel, mother; Geraldine Wrubel, sister; Barbara Cubias and brother; Paul Wrubel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Austin with interment to follow at Dessau Lutheran Cemetery.
