Sandra Lynn Martin

She attended school in Odessa, Texas and graduated from Odessa High School in 1962. On May 30, 1963, she married Robert Barry Martin. She worked as a secretary for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, Oklahoma while her husband was in college.

She had a very strong faith and was a devout Christian and she served the Lord in four states – Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi. She worked in the nurseries in the churches that she attended. She served as the secretary for First Baptist Church in Round Rock for eight years.

Sandra loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and waterskiing. She and Robert loved to travel in their camper and had visited Canada and at least six other states. She was also an artist and loved to paint.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Robert Martin; her sons, Cid and wife Ellen Martin, Jeff and wife Laura Martin and her daughter, Stephanie Martin; and her grandchildren, Devin, Hannah and Allen Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all her knew and loved her.

A visitation for Sandra will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
