Born on September 6, 1972, in Port Arthur, Texas, Tracy lived a life marked by love, family, loyalty, laughter, and cherished memories.
A Life Rooted in Faith, Love, and Family
Tracy made Austin, Texas, his home, where he met the love of his life, Marcia Trejo-Burrel, with whom he shared 30 beautiful years of togetherness and marriage. Their journey together was built on love, companionship, commitment, and countless memories that will forever remain treasured.
Tracy's faith, love for family, and dedication to those around him will continue to inspire all who had the blessing of knowing him. Tracy found joy in the simple yet meaningful moments of life. He loved traveling, fishing, cooking, and spending quiet time at the beach. He treasured family gatherings and especially cherished the time he spent creating lasting memories with his grandchildren.
Tracy was an active and devoted member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, attending services whenever he was not traveling. He found fellowship, spiritual growth, and community through the church. His commitment to strengthening relationships was also reflected in his participation in the Brotherhood and Marriage Ministry.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Tracy proudly supported the Texas Longhorns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Texas Stars hockey. His love for the Pittsburgh Steelers extended to his membership in the Pittsburgh Steelers Fan Club of Austin.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for sports, his appreciation for good food and fellowship, and the special joy he found in spending time with those closest to him. His laughter, warmth, and genuine love for others will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Legacy of Love
Family was at the center of Tracy's heart. Whether gathered around a meal, enjoying time at the beach, cheering on his favorite teams, or simply sharing quiet moments together, he understood the importance of togetherness.
His love for his grandchildren was especially precious, and the memories they created together will remain treasured forever.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are grateful for the years, the love, the laughter, and the memories Tracy gave us. His life was a gift, his love was a blessing, and his memory will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
