Alfredo Mata

Mr. Mata was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed family gatherings watching his Cowboys play and BBQ's. Alfredo married his beloved Carolina, on July 9, 1988, and together they took care of their loving family of six children. With his wife, Alfredo was a protector and provider, he was always making sure she was well taken care off. With his children he was loving and keep his jokes alive at all times. He enjoyed shopping for different types of firearms and vehicle accessories. He was a traditional man with a love for his family and residence; in his time he would enjoy landscaping and maintaining the house to date. Alfredo's unique personality and jokes are going to live forever in the memories of his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years of marriage, Carolina Mata; his six children, Melissa, Marissa, Alfredo Jr., Michael, Omar, Roxanne Mata; six grandchildren; two brothers; and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 3 pm to 10 pm, with a christian service at 7 pm, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
