Amalia Ybarra, age 83, of Edinburg, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Amalia was born February 23, 1939 to Dominga Salinas and Alfredo Villarreal.

Amalia is survived by her children Sarah Ybarra, Maryann Garza (Ignacio (+), Jose Luis Ybarra and her Elizabeth Ybarra (Antonio); her siblings; Esperanza Velez, Israel Villarreal and Esteban Villarreal.

Amalia was preceded in death by her husband Louis Ybarra; her father Alfredo Villarreal and her mother Dominga Salinas.

A visitation for Amalia will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and a prayer service at 7:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, Pharr, TX. A Chapel Service will occur Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM, Pharr, TX., followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, Pharr, TX.
