Angelica Rios

With profound sadness, the Rios family announces the passing of Angelica Rios, 89, a resident of Pharr, Texas, who passed away on June 6, 2025. Angelica lived a full life dedicated to her family, her faith, and the simple things she held most dear.

Angelica was a loving, hardworking, and wise woman. She loved crocheting, tending her garden (roses were her favorite), and spending time playing Chalupa surrounded by family and friends. Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit will leave an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Blas Rios Sr.; her daughter, Delma Martinez (West Martinez); her son, Blas Rios Jr. (Irene Rios); her son, Noe Rios; and her daughter, Ada Santos (Martin Santos), who will always carry her love in their hearts. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley, followed by burial at 10:00 a.m. at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens.

Her memory will live forever in the hearts of her family and loved ones.
