Aurora dedicated 25+ years to teaching at St. Mark Pre-School where her devotion to children was cherished. She enjoyed sports and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. She had a strong faith and loved crosses, reading, unicorns, and perfumes. Aurora loved to spend time with her family, especially at family gatherings and BBQs, where she was able to enjoy good laughs. Her caring and loving personality are going to be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Aurora is survived by six brothers, Raul Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez (Rosie Gonzalez), Fidencio Gonzalez (Irma Gonzalez), Ernesto Gonzalez (Jennifer Gonzalez), David Gonzalez (Patricia Gonzalez), Gilberto Gonzalez (Yesenia Gonzalez); four sisters, Sofia Perales (Rito Perales), Alicia Rubio (Pablo Rubio), Linda Gonzalez, Susie Gonzales; 13 nieces and nephews; one great-niece, Zoe; numerous extended family and friends.
Aurora was preceded in death by parents, Antonio T. and Ninfa Gonzalez; and a brother, Antonio Gonzalez, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m., rosary Friday, May 1, 2020, at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
For family and friends afar, a live Facebook streaming service will be conducted on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 7 p.m. for her rosary and on Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
