Concepcion was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was outgoing and a jokester that enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known to have a green thumb and one of his hobbies was to garden and landscape. Concepcion also enjoyed learning new trades and skills. He was the family handy man and 'Jack of all Trades'. He had many hobbies but one of his favorite pastimes was taking road trips with his adored wife of 65 years, Rafaela. Together they traveled frequently building cherished memories.
Concepcion is survived by his wife, Rafaela Garza; son Juan Manuel Garza (Sylvia); daughter Cipriana Zapata (Pablo); son Concepcion Garza (Lupita); daughter Mary Aguirre; son Ricardo Garza (Lucy); son Jose Luis Garza (Estella); son Leonel Garza (Lilia); daughter Linda Engelkind (Marty); and daughter San Juanita G Zapata (Mark).
Concepcion was preceded in death by son Guadalupe Garza (Lupita) and parents, Maria Isabel and Valentin Ramirez.
A visitation for Concepcion will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley with a prayer service being recited at 6:00 PM. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM with his interment to follow at 1:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens, Mission.
