David Anzaldua(Kushmer), passed away peacefully at home, to be with the Lord on Monday, November 9, 2020. David was born June 25, 1954 in Robstown, Texas to Ofelia Anzaldua and Jesus Anzaldua. David was in Gibsonton, Florida and lived most of his adult life in Tampa, Florida and McAllen, Texas.

David Anzaldua was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, David will be remembered as a very exceptional person with a great sense of humor.

In David’s youth he was a boxer and later became a self-employed businessman and owner of an import-export company. David spent his life helping others and was a man of his word. He worked hard to become a successful businessman. David loved God, his wife and his children over everything. Even though life threw hardships in his path, he stayed strong and positive despite throughout the trials. He had a heart of the purest gold and would give the shirt off his back to help a friend in need. David was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather.

David enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were golf and boxing. Simply stated, David was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a loyal, caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. David leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember David Anzaldua.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marisol (Lomas) Anzaldua; son, David James Anzaldua; daughters, Stephanie Anzaldua, MariAnn Anzaldua and Danielle Kushmer; his beloved grandchildren, Mikhael, Joziah(Stephanie), David, Nathaniel, and Anthony(Danielle); mother, Ofelia Kushmer and brother, James Kushmer.

David was preceded in death by father Jesus Anzaldua.

Words cannot express the sorrow we feel in our hearts after losing such an amazing soul. God has him in his eternal glory and his testimony will live through the legacy he left for his family.

A visitation for David will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a celebration service being conducted 1:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas. Interment is scheduled to follow at 3:00 PM Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas.
