

Dennis proudly served as a police officer before being injured in the line of duty, dedicated his career to protecting and serving his community with honor, courage, and compassion. After injury from the force, her carried with him the same values of integrity and service, continuing to guide, encourage, and support those around him.
Though his years in uniform were filled with bravery and sacrifice, Dennis' greatest pride was his family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Tammy, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and unshakable partnership. He was a proud father to 6 kids, instilling in them the lessons of hard work, kindness, and resilience. As "Papa", he found his greatest joy in his grandchildren, whose lives he filled with stories, wisdom, and unconditional love.
Dennis will be remembered not only for his years of service in law enforcement, but also for his steadfast devotion to his family and friends. His humor, his strength, and his unwavering love will remain in the hears of all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy Darragh; his mother-in-law Patricia King (Fred); his children, Tylor Snyder (Lucy), Dustun Darragh (Heather), Dillun Darragh (Cynthia), Tiffanie Cox (Zach), Tabitha Vonheeder (Bradley) and Devun Darragh (Kloey); his brothers Jimmie Darragh (Amber) and Sean Darragh (Marlene); his 17 grandchildren with another granddaughter on the way; his brother in blue Dan Duhon, his nieces and nephew and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James Darragh and Geraldine O'Niell.
A service to honor his life will be heldin in Leesville, LA at a later date.
Rest easy, Dennis. Your service is complete, but your love and legacy live on.
