PHARR- Edecia Garcia, 86, left to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Edinburg Regional Hospital in Edinburg. She was born on September 10, 1932 to Salvador Garza and Blasa Avendaño in Burgos, Tamaulipas. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Refugio J. Garcia, Jr., Gilberto G. Garza, Telesforo Garcia, †Salvador Garcia, Minerva Soto, Norma Gonzales, Edecia Loera, Ricardo Garcia, Javier Garcia, Fidel Garcia, Joel Garcia, †Juan Refugio Garcia, †Mario Garcia & Lupe Garcia; grandchildren: †Gilberto Garza, Jr., Roberto Garza and nephew: †Arturo Garza. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 2, 2019 and Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm both evenings at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Monday, March 4, 2019 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley of Pharr.
