

Born in McAllen, he was resident of Edinburg. Leo was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan who loved the games. He enjoyed traveling, playing chalupa, attending concerts, and working for the State of Texas. He was full of happiness and shared it by making everyone laugh. Mr. Chavez enjoyed dancing and loved country music. His smile, unique personality and charisma is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Roberto Rendon; and his paternal grandparents, Maria and Eleovardo Chavez Sr.
Eleovardo is survived by his parents, Alicia and Eleovardo Chavez Jr.; hes grandmother, Dominga Rendon; his companion, Maria Delores Galan; a sister, Melissa (Lee) Banuelos; nieces and nephews, Fernando (Sarahi) Sandoval, Denise Sandoval, and Francisco Angel Sandoval;numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 11 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Cremation will take place at a later day.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
