Born on May 3, 1931, Elvira's journey was one characterized by her roles as a loving mother, grandmother, and a beacon of light to all who knew her.

Elvira dedicated her life to nurturing not just her children but also played a pivotal role in helping raise her grandchildren. Her warmth, patience, and humor were the glue that kept the family together, making every moment spent with her a precious memory. She was a natural teacher, imparting lessons not just through words but through her actions, embodying strength, happiness, and resilience. Her passion for life was evident in her love for dance, where she moved to with grace and joy. Elvira's faith in God was strong; it was her unwavering belief that guided her through life's ups and downs, always keeping her heart and arms open to those in need. Music and art were not just hobbies for Elvira; they were expressions of her soul. She found solace and joy in playing the piano, creating tunes that filled her home with warmth. Gardening and painting allowed her to capture the beauty of the world around her. An adventurer at heart, Elvira's life was full of stories from her travels and experiences, each one teaching her family the value of exploring and appreciating the world. Her culinary skills were legendary, and she had a particular fondness for Dr. Pepper, a quirky detail that brought smiles to the faces of her loved ones. Professionally, Elvira spent 47 years as a dedicated cosmetologist, touching the lives of countless individuals with her talent and kindness. She retired with a legacy of beauty, inside and out, that she had created and shared throughout her career. Christmas was a special time for Elvira, who grew her own Christmas tree and delighted in giving unique gifts that reflected her creativity and thoughtfulness. These gestures were a testament to her love for her family, a love that knew no bounds. Elvira Perez's life was a lesson in love, faith, and joy. Her spirit will forever dance in the hearts of those she leaves behind, guiding and uplifting us.

Survived with deep sorrow by her 6 children, Melinda (Mark) Solorio, Thelma (Javier) Murillo, Noe Anthony Perez, Moises (Elizabeth) Perez, Domonick Cruz Perez, Demetre Jose Perez; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; many more family and friends.

Elvira is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Moises Perez.

A viewing will be held Funeraria Del Angel on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 5pm to midnight. Services will continue Wednesday, April 10, 2024 with a funeral service at 12pm followed by burial at 1pm at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens.
