PHARR- Emma Amaya, 77, left to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. She was born to Manuel Lopez and Manuela Vega on December 27, 1940 in Mission. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Ramon Amaya and their children: Maria del Carmen Mejia, Abel Amaya, Maria de los Angeles Amaya, Ramon Amaya, Maria de Jesus Amaya Lopez, Candelario Amaya, Maricela Amaya, Guadalupe Amaya, Emma Delia Amaya and Josue Manuel Amaya. Family will receive friends Friday, June 29, 2018 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Pam Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
