Esther R. Espinoza

Esther R. Espinoza, 88, left to be with the Lord on Friday, March 9, 2018 at McAllen Medical Center. She was born to Pedro Rivera and Petra Villarreal on January 7, 1930 in Hidalgo, Texas. She is now reunited with her husband, Gilberto Espinoza and great-grandchild, Sean Paul Mabbun; who have preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Bertha (Ramon) E. Bazan, Linda Esparza, Lee (Martha) Espinoza, Belia (Johnny) Wheat and Gilbert Espinoza Jr. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Bobby, Angela, A.J., Marissa, Laura, Michael Lee, Nikki, Cristie, Jackie; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; three brothers Raul Rivera of Huntington Beach, CA; Ramiro Rivera of Boise, Idaho; Robert Rivera of Casa Grande, AZ and two sisters Irene Lopez of Casa Grande, AZ and Margie Robles of McAllen. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1 pm at St Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
