EDINBURG- Eusebio Valdez, 85, of Edinburg, Texas died peacefully at home on April 3, 2017; he was surrounded by his family. Eusebio dedicated his life to God and family. He was self-employed and served proudly in the Korean War. Eusebio is survived by four sisters; Leandra, Martina, Teodora and Maria Brigida Valdez. Preceded in death by his parents; Anastacio and Abundia, brothers; Margarito, Domingo, Cresencio, Isabel, Eleuterio and sisters, Juana, Micaela and Paula Valdez. Visitation will be held today, April 5, 2017 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Military Honors will be conducted by members of VFW #7473 of Elsa, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
