Geronima G. Ramos, 96, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2018 at Comfort House in McAllen. She was born to Cruz and Petra Duran Garcia on September 30, 1921 in Waco, Texas. She is now reunited with her parents; husband, Gregorio Ramos and brother, Wenceslado Garcia; who have preceded her in death. Geronima loved and excelled with her work on the farm. Left to cherish her memory is her loving sisters: Cruzita Garcia, Martha Garcia, Carmen († Jessie del Valle) del Valle; brother: Joe (†Alicia) D. Garcia; niece: Francis (Richard) Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 5 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral service will be held at 9 am, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
