Graciela Quintanilla Soliz passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and unconditional love. She was born on February 1, 1964, in Edinburg, Texas, where she spent her childhood and was raised among a close-knit family and lifelong friends who helped shape the remarkable woman she became.
Graciela was a woman whose heart was as big as her spirit. Strong-willed, compassionate, and fiercely devoted to those she loved, she faced life's challenges with courage and determination. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family, whom she cherished above all else. Whether through her comforting words, unwavering support, or the countless sacrifices she made, Graciela always put the needs of her loved ones before her own.
She found happiness in spending time with family, sharing stories and laughter, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Her kindness touched many lives, and her warm presence brought comfort and strength to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though she could be tough when life demanded it, those closest to her knew that beneath that strength was a loving and generous soul who would do anything for the people she cared about.
Graciela was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Quintanilla; her brother, Ruben Quintanilla; and her sister, Olga DeLeon. While her family takes comfort in knowing she has been reunited with those who went before her, her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her beloved children, Jessie L. Solis and Tony Quintanilla, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her devoted husband, Jesse Soliz; her loving mother, Juanita Quintanilla; her sisters, Elisa Valdez, Amalia Quintanilla, Esperanza Rodriguez, and Rachel Villarreal; her brother, Juan Quintanilla; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Although Graciela's physical presence is no longer with us, the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of strength, resilience, and devotion to family will never be forgotten.
Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
