HARLINGEN- Guadalupe Torres, 54, went to with the Lord on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in Edinburg. Guadalupe was born on November 15, 1964 in New Castle, Wyoming to Hector L. Torres and Maria A. Castillo. He is preceded in death by his parents Hector L. and Maria Torres.
Guadalupe proudly served his country as a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his siblings, Hector Torres, Jr., Gilberto Torres, Leticia Lopez, Maria Gonzalez, and Juan Torres. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 11 am to Midnight. at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley Chapel of Serenity in Pharr. Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2 pm at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Full military honors will be conducted by VFW 8788 of McAllen. Having the distinguished honor serving as pallbearers will be: Hector Torres, Jr., Gilberto Torres, Justo Olivarez, Hector Torres III, Ryan A. Torres, Mike Gonzalez, Juan Lopez and Juan Torres.
