Israel Serrano, age 77, of Edinburg, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Israel was born September 3, 1945 to Dionicia Guardado and Jose Serrano.

Israel is survived by his spouse, Maria Serrano Ornelas; his daughter Elia Castaneda (Miguel); his daughter Veronica Halek (Joseph J.R.); and his daughter America Retana (Jose); his grandchild Yesenia Castaneda, his grandchild Jorge Halek, his grandchild Marlene Tenorio, his grandchild Cassandra Retana and his grandchild Brandon Retana.

Israel was preceded in death by his father Jose Serrano and his mother Dionicia Guardado.

A visitation for Israel will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, Pharr, TX, followed by a catholic service at 7:00 PM.
