Jaime Tijerina

Jaime was a devoted son, father, and friend. He is survived by his beloved children, Jaime J Tijerina and Crystal J. Tijerina; and by his loving mother, Maria Elena Tijerina. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marcelino Tijerina; his sister, Rosalinda Tijerina Frazier; and his brother, Marcelino Tijerina Jr.

Jaime will be remembered for his curious mind and passion for learning. He enjoyed reading, writing, and exploring new ideas. In his free time, he found joy in building model cars and driving. He had a strong interest in HVAC systems and took pride in understanding how things worked. He worked for many years at HESS Air, where he was an HVAC technician and then he continued on as an independent contractor servicing the HVAC needs of the Valley.

A true sports enthusiast, Jaime was a dedicated fan of the Houston Astros and the San Antonio Spurs. He rarely missed a baseball, basketball, or football game, always cheering on his teams with enthusiasm.

Family and friends are invited to honor Jaime’s life at a visitation on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas. A prayer service will be held that evening at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at 11:00 AM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens.

Jaime’s warmth, sense of humor, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
