Jesusa Magliquian Rodriguez

Jesusa was born on December 25, 1951, in the Philippines, where she was raised and spent her early years before building a life filled with love and family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband of 42 years, Arturo Rodriguez, and a loving mother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Jesusa will be remembered as a compassionate, kind-hearted, and strong woman who brought happiness to those around her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a warm smile that brightened every room. She cherished being surrounded by her loved ones and created many treasured memories with them throughout her life.

She found joy in crocheting, collecting beautiful glassware, and caring for her many plants, especially her beloved orchids, which reflected the patience and care she showed in all aspects of her life.

Jesusa was preceded in death by her parents, Maxima and Vicente Magliquian, and her ten siblings.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Arturo Rodriguez; her children, Patricia Karen Rodriguez (partner, Thomas George) and Arturo Vicente Rodriguez Jr.; her sister, Remedios Oquiano; her brother, Proscencio "Esoy" Magliquian; and many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her love, kindness, and gentle spirit.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 N. Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. A committal service will conclude at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3611 N Taylor RD, Mission, Texas 78573.
