Jose Emilio Carranza

Born in Pharr, he was very proud to be a native of Pharr. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his grandchildren, he was a very active grandfather. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. Mr. Carranza has left a mark on the hearts of his grandchildren, they will forever have in their memories all the fun times; moreover, in particular that grampa and grandma would take them lunch daily to school. Mr. Carranza enjoye Tejano music, dancing, and attending concerts with his loving wife, Nora Elia. Jose Emilio was an awesome father, he was present in each event they had in school when growing up and as adults he was always there for his family at all times. Mr. Carranza unique and loving personality is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years of marriage, Nora Elia Martinez; his four children, Juan (Veronica), Frank (Cassandra), Jesus, Leanna (Esteban); seven grandchildren, Jasmine, Keanna, Skyler, Makeda, Frank Jr., Wyatt, Niko; and numerous extended family.

Visitation will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, with a 12 pm christian service on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
