Jose Guajardo Gutierrez

Jose Guajardo Gutierrez, age 77, left to be with the Lord on Monday February 19, 2018 at his residence in Pharr. Jose was born to Octavio and Francisca Gutierrez on November 3, 1940 in San Juan, Texas.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Jose Gutierrez Jr.; George Luis Gutierrez; Diana Gutierrez; Mary (Stanley) Budzinski; Ricardo Gutierrez and Patricia Cantu. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren: George L. Fuentes, Jessica Marie Fuentes, George Mooses, Crystal Marie Miletic, George L. Gutierrez II, Celina Marie Gutierrez, Katrina Crone, Lorena Peaslee, Ramiro Adrian Cantu, Alyssa Renee Cantu and great-grandchildren: Taylor Brook Fuentes, Emily Fuentes, George Fuentes III, Anthony Parson, Emilia Peaslee, Cade Peaslee & Mason M. Miletic. Jose is also survived by his sisters Maria Castro, Alicia Lomeli; the mother of his children: Evangelina G. Ramon; his care-giver: Carmela Hernandez and her children and grandchildren who loved him dearly.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Armando Gutierrez & Leonel Gutierrez.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Palm Valley Funeral Home, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, Texas 78577. A prayer service will occur Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 7:00 PM, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, Texas 78577. A cremation will occur Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 9:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Crematory in La Feria. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
