Lorenzo Hernandez Jr.

HIDALGO- Lorenzo Hernandez Jr, 64, left to be with the Lord surrounded by his family at his residence in Hidalgo. He was born to Lorenzo and Ernestina Garza on December 7, 1952 in Monte Alto, Texas. He is now reunited with his brothers, Antonio Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez and Salvador Hernandez; who have preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Virginia Hernandez and their children: Esmeralda Yvonne Elizalde, Lorenzo Rafael (Nidia) Hernandez, Veronica (Jose) Salinas and Hector (Nancy) Hernandez. He will also be greatly missed by his siblings: Hector Hernandez, Edelmiro Hernandez, Isidro Hernandez, Rosa H. Navarro, Maria de la Luz Hernandez, Marcos Hernandez, Maria Elena Frausto, Ernestina Trevino, Maria Cristina Hernandez, Martha Hernandez, Rosa Elvia Hernandez, Maria Isabel Hernandez, Gerardo Hernandez, Maria Luisa Hernandez Martinez, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Chapel service will be held at 1 pm, November 21, 2017 at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
