

Born on October 23, 1959, in Englewood, Colorado, Lori was the daughter of Harlin and Geraldine Robinson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by love, compassion, and service to others.
Lori is survived by her husband, Ruben Medina of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, her son, Jeremey, and wife, Jennifer Taylor, of St. Louis, Missouri, and their children Andrew and Adeline. Daughter, Rosalinda Medina and her spouse Manny Navarro of McAllen, Texas, and their children Ruby Purselley, Anthony and Kiyanna (Cricket) Zamora, Kaylie, Aizik, Aubry, Ej and Emily; Son, Michael Alan Taylor of Wentzville, Missouri; Son, Dustin and wife Miranda Beard of Joplin, Missouri and their children Kairi and Lucas, and great grandchildren, Calian and Zeniyah.
She is also survived by her departed sister Sharon Herrington’s children (2 children), Sister Terri Barton (2 children) of Springfield Missouri. Brother and Sisters-in-law; Raul Medina (5 children) of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Rene and Sylvia Medina (3 children) of McAllen, Texas, Hilda Hernandez (4 children) of Edinburg, Texas, Reynaldo and Rachel Medina (3 children) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Hermelinda and Raul Guzman (4 children) of Edinburg, Texas, Helen and Luciano Castillo (3 children) of Decatur, Arkansas, Robert Medina’s children (5 children), and Heloise “Tia Rough” Medina (2 children) of Edinburg, Texas and many great nieces and nephews.
Lori is proceeded in death by her father, Harlin Robinson, mother, Geraldine Robinson, sister Sharon Herrington, daughter, Ruby Lynn Medina, father-in-law Raul Medina Sr., and mother-in-law Christina O. Medina, brothers-in-law Keneth Herrington and Robert Medina.
Lori was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and discovered her love for music and performing at an early age. She carried that creative spirit with her throughout her life. On October 18, 1997, she married the love of her life, Ruben Medina, and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories for their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.
With Ruben’s loving support, Lori pursued higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Arkansas and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, Arkansas. For nearly 20 years, she served as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in psychotherapy with the Cherokee Nation where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and unwavering care for every person she served. To Lori, her patients were never “just patients,” but an extension of her family.
She retired in late 2024 due to her declining health. Throughout her final years, Lori faced her illness with grace and determination, surrounded by the unwavering love and devotion of her husband, Ruben by her side.
Lori will be remembered for her beautiful smile, compassionate heart, selfless giving, outgoing spirit, her voluminous hair, extensive makeup and purse collections, her deep love for family and the countless lives she touched along the way.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 3:15 pm to 11:00 pm, with prayer service at 6 pm. Visitation will resume at 8:30 am, on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, with a service at 9:30 am. Following burial at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
