Luke Respicio Tamayo, a respected resident of Edinburg, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on October 26, 1937, Luke was known for his kind spirit and dedication to his community.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Edinburg SDA Church, located at 602 West Wisconsin Road, Edinburg, TX. Viewing will take place from 5:00–7:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service from 7:45–9:15 PM (CST). The service will also be livestreamed via the Edinburg SDA Church Facebook and YouTube pages for family and friends across the U.S. and around the world.
Luke’s body will be flown to Honolulu, Hawaii, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, via Eagles Wings, where he will be laid to rest at Mililani Memorial Park. A Memorial Service and Burial Ceremony will be announced at a later date.
