

Born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, she lived all of her life in Edinburg. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Lupita had traditional values, she dedicated her life to her beloved children and working hard to be a good provider. She enjoyed watching tv, like Como Dice El Dicho, La Rosa de Guadalupe, Peliculas Antiguas, and other TV shows. Lupita loved family gatherings, cooking, and spending quality time. She was an avid collector of owl figurines and enjoyed taking care of her garden. Lupita is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her eight children, Ricardo Puente, Sergio (Frances) Puente, Jaime (Diana) Puente, Nora Elisa (Juan Alberto) Lara, Sonia (Juan "Herbie") Salinas, Javier (Zenaida) Puente, Everardo Puente, Oscar (Rosa) Puente; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maria Rodriguez and Aurora Avila; numerous extended family.
Memorial service will be held with a catholic service at 10 am, Monday, May 27, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
