Our most heartfelt condolences go out to Conchis, Kathy, and the rest of the family. My brother, Esteban and I had the wonderful pleasure of growing up on the same street that Nito's parents lived. It was such a joy to hear them practicing their music at their parents home. Nito was a joy to be around. Never a dull moment. If you were feeling down, he always had good advice and a funny joke to make you laugh. He loved life and always had a smile. You will be truly missed. This is not goodbye but a see you soon neighbor.

Had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Nito in the early 80's as members of Los Formales. My brother Lupe was an original member.
