

Mrs. Oceguera was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and mother-in-law who passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side. She dedicated her life to honoring and nurturing her children and grandchildren, finding her greatest joy in their love and accomplishments.
From an early age, Mrs. Oceguera worked as a migrant, always committing herself to honest and honorable work. She had a deep passion for playing lotería, shopping at Ross, and
—above all-spoiling her grandchildren. Her strong will to live and her unwavering love for others carried her through life's challenges. Even after the loss of her beloved husband, Mr. Oceguera, and her eldest son, Santiago, she remained steadfast-continuing to care for and guide her other sons with grace and strength.
Mrs. Oceguera will be remembered for her honesty, transparency, and her ability to uplift others through compassion and sincerity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her eldest son.
She is survived by her sons Santiago Jr., Cristian, and Alfredo Oceguera; her sister, Juanita "Yaya" Hernandez; eleven grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A small merienda will be served from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a service from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
