I remember Mrs. Reyes at the garage sale she was having that was on the photo in the presentation. She looked so cute and ready to sell. She was always dressed so nicely, and she had a beautiful smile. It was beautiful watching her and her beloved husband share life together. The love between them was very evident. It was a joy to see them go on outings with Mari. As Mari helped Mr. Reyes in or out of the car, Mrs. Reyes would patiently wait her turn. When Mr. Reyes went to be with the Lord, Mrs. Reyes patiently waited her turn. They are now together with our Lord Jesus Christ, rejoicing, because they will be together with Jesus forever.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting Life. John 3:16

I would like to thank Maria Reyes, my abuelita, for taking good care of me and my siblings when I was a child. I have fond memories of visiting her home, eating delicious home cooked meals and watching some solid '60's Batman on her kitchen TV after church. She was a good grandma to me and I appreciate what she did for me. Thank you abuelita. Condolences from the Portillo family. RIP.
