Mario Aquino Vargas, age 51, of Edinburg, Texas entered Heaven's Gates on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Mario was born January 19, 1970 to Rosa Elvia Aquino and Mario Aquino Sr in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Mario was a beloved, husband, father, son, brother and friend. To those that knew him best, he will be remembered as an exceptional person. Fortunately for Mario he enjoyed his occupation and was a proud employee of Payne Edinburg. He and his family were thankful and pleased with Mr. Bud Payne (welito Payne), and Cesar for giving him the opportunity to do what he loved. He was also grateful to his coworkers, especially to those who looked after him. Mario had several hobbies, but one of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his family and playing baseball.
Simply stated, Mario was a stern and strong man but humble person. An individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as caring, outgoing and a jokester-someone who was a vital part of their lives. Mario will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends.
Mario is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Noemi Aquino; his son Mario A. Aquino; his son Brandon A. Aquino; his daughter Kyleigh M. Garcia; and his son Nolan B. Garcia; his father Mario Aquino Sr. and his mother Rosa Elvia Aquino; his brothers, Javier Aquino, and Arturo Aquino and his sister Sylvia Aquino; his nephews Alex, Alvaro, Javier, Joel, Irvin and Sayid.

A chapel service will occur Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley with his burial scheduled to follow at 1:00 PM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens.
