Nevaeh was an amazing student to have in the classroom. Her first year in my classroom she sat in the back row and had her plushy for support (like a comfort blanket). She slowly broke out of her shell and made friends. She made her way to the front row and took comfort in her “spot” in the classroom. This past year she blossomed in her designs. She was more intentional with how and what she would create. I told her how proud I am with how she has grown in the design industry. This coming year she was going to be in Practicum for Graphic Design and Illustration. Nevaeh was growing into becoming an amazing Graphic Designer and was going to be competition to those who came up against her design work. Along with the knowledge that she learned in Yearbook she was going to be well rounded in Visual Communication. She was one of my students who got a high score on their certification exams. 

I’m going to miss having her in my classroom. My prayers 🙏🏼 are with her, her family, loved ones, and her friends. May she rest in peace. 🕊️

There are few people in the world who have the ability to create joy in the hearts of everyone they meet. Devin was one of those rare beings, whose heart was always ready to provide kindness and love to others and whose mind was constantly absorbing the knowledge of the world around them. I was blessed enough to have been their teacher this past school year, and I will forever remember the brilliantly funny, smart, and kind child who sat next to my desk all year. May the stars shine brighter tonight with Devin in the heavens with them. My sincere and deepest condolences to their friends and family.

Nevaeh was a special person. She was so kind and caring to all. She took such great care of her friends and even her teachers. She was so witty and hilarious with making jokes. Very creative and intelligent. An amazing singer and knowledgeable about different styles of music. I am so grateful to have had her as a student all these years. I will cherish my memories of her. She will dearly be missed by all of us here in Choir. May she rest in peace.

Thank you for being my first friend in a new school all the way back in 2nd grade, I miss you. (This photo was taken later on in elementary but it is still such a cute photo of you)

This was back in December 5th of 2022 at the Christmas tree lighting. The choir was gonna go sing so I had gone to support and take pictures. This was the first one I got to take that night. That night before she had to leave we were talking and joking while my grandpa was buying me a lemonade and I shared mine since Dev didn't want him to buy another. They were an amazing person. She would joke and make us laugh even during the serious times. Devin was no ordinary person which is what made them stand out and that was the best part about her. No matter what Devin will always have a place in our hearts.

I will cherish every moment of our 13 years of friendship till the day I die. 
Someday I'll see you again.

Devin is and will forever be my best friend. I'm grateful they stayed with us for as long as they could.

I dont have many photos with her, but every moment i had, was cherished. She always cared for me even when i felt like it was my job to care for her, she made sure we all felt at home when she was around, Devin was a wonderful person, and everyone around her knew it. I barely knew her for 2 years, but she changed and helped me grow so much, and i can do nothing but mourn and give thanks for her. She was an angel on Earth, and although it was too early, she has gone back to heaven, safe and sound. Thank you Devin, love you always.

This was my first choir uil with Devin. And they made it amazing if it weren’t for them I wouldn’t have meet the people I call my friends. I’m gonna miss them so much but the moon will always remind me of them. <3

You and I were best friends. You and your family cared for me for the longest time. You were a ray of light in my life at the time when I needed it most. You took me into your home, fed me, and cared for me. I knew you for 3 years and for those 3 years, and we always talked and hung out. You helped me through the toughest times and I helped you through everything too. Even if we had arguments, we always managed to resolve them and stay friends until the end. You helped me change for the better. You were one of the most important people in my life and I will never forget the impact you had on me. I will never forget who you were as a person and how every time we hugged you never wanted to let go. I will always remember our last conversation and the last thing I said to you, "I know you're not feeling great right now, and you don't want to get out of bed, but even if you are doing the bear minimum every day, I'm still proud of you and I always will. Never forget that. Goodnight, I love you."

it was October 5th of 2022, when we first met, and yet we clicked so fast. She was there for me when i graduated on june 5th 2023 and we only grew closer from there. Because of her i strived to always be better, and even now to hold onto her memory i will continue to strive to be better.
