Noe A. Tovar

Noe A. Tovar, 70, left to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2017 at Paxvilla Hospice in McAllen. He was born to Tomas and Trinidad Tovar on May 14, 1946 in San Juan, Texas. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Francisca Tovar and their children; Noe Tovar, Jr., Marcos Tovar and Sandra (James) Smith. He will also be greatly missed by his siblings; Guadalupe (†Noel) Garza, Elias (Martha) Tovar, Diana (Ramiro) Garza, Homero (Beatriz) Omar Tovar and 11 grandchildren. Noe was a devout Catholic at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where he also served as a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus and a long-time member of the church choir. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 3 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Burial will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr.
