He resided in Pharr, Texas, Ricky lived most of his life in Robstown, Texas. Ricky will be remembered with deep respect for a life marked by steady dedication, quiet integrity, and a sincere regard for others. In all he did, he carried himself with a straightforward honesty that earned trust, and a patient, hard-working spirit that showed in the way he met responsibilities day after day. He was a proud ARMY Veteran and a member of the ARMY Reserve.
Those who knew Ricky also knew the warmth of his generosity and the ease of his company. He had a naturally social way of bringing people together, offering conversation, presence, and support without pretense. Even in serious moments, he could lighten the room with a well-timed sense of humor—never at another’s expense, but as a gentle reminder to hold close what matters and to face life with steadiness and grace.
Ricky is survived by his children, family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577, on August 29, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Rosary will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577, on August 29, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
