Born on October 10, 1952, in San Carlos, TX to Juan Crisoforo and Guadalupe Maldonado. She was a pillar of strength, Catholic faith, and love. She built a life with her loving husband, Jose and shared 56 years together in which they not only remained in love but shared that with their four children. Rosa loved to spend her time outdoors, especially in her garden tending to her roses. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Louisiana, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, where they enjoyed the casinos and sightseeing. She was a great cook, but you could not leave her house without tasting her amazing pancakes and beans. She will be missed by all who knew her, she leaves behind a legacy of family commitment, hard work ethic, but most of all honesty.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Escobar Jr.; four children, Rolando (Blanca) Escobar, Jose Ramiro Escobar, Adrian (Stella) Escobar, Dr. Ana Laura (Alfonso) Fuentes; her brother, Maximiliano (Martha) Maldonado, Alfredo (Hermelinda) Aparicio; seventeen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many more family and friends.
