

He was born on July 10, 1928 to Epimenio and Dolores Vasquez in Ejido El Nogal, Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon. He lived most of his life in Pharr, Texas. He married the love of his life, Josefina Garcia on December 4, 1946, in Ejido El Saucillo, Cadereyta. Together they formed a beautiful family with four daughters. Along with his beloved wife, he founded in 1985, -Iglesia Monte Sinai in Las Milpas, TX. Furthermore, in 1990 his son-in-law, Misaias Torres joined them and the church has served the community to today as Monte De Olivar.
Mr. Vasquez was honored to see his four generations with great blessing. Mr. Vasquez's wise advice and charming personality will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josefina G. Vasquez and parents.
Mr. Vasquez is survived by his four daughters, Juanita Vasquez, Esther V. Sanchez, Elizabeth Torres, Rebecca Maynard; his seven grandchildren that were his pride and joy, Jessie, Eric, Rebecca Lea, Lydia, Abraham, Natalie, Josue; seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Nicole, Jillian, Jenavieve, Maddison, Azariah, Keren Aliyah, and Jeremiah Samuel; two great-great-grandchildren, Braelyn and Blaze; numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. A Christian Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
