San Cristobal Aleman, age 77, of Edinburg, Texas went to be with our Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2020. San Cristobal was born January 6, 1943 in Edinburg, Texas to Elvira Loredo and Crisanto Aleman.
San Cristobal met the love of his life, Juanita in 1966 and married on April 2, 1967. Together they celebrate 53 amazing wedding anniversaries. They began their family together having many blessings such as their five children. San Cristobal worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. He was a devoted husband and dedicated father and grandfather. San Cristobal was extremely work oriented and devoted over 43 years to the International Paper Company in Edinburg.
On his spare time, he loved to spend time with his family and watching a good game of football, especially when his favorite team was playing, The Texans.
Simply stated, San Cristobal was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. San Cristobal leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember San Cristobal Aleman.
San Cristobal is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Aleman; son Cristobal Aleman Jr. (Veronica); daughter Enedina Fraire (Philip); son Alejandro Aleman (Norma); daughter Monica Sustaita (Rafael); and son Jesse Aleman (Magaly); 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.
San Cristobal was preceded in death by father Crisanto Aleman and mother Elvira Loredo; brother, Rafael Aleman and sister Dominga Aleman.
A visitation for San Cristobal will be held Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, Pharr with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Edinburg with his interment to follow at 3:00 PM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, Pharr.
