Mrs. Silvestre Garza was a woman of deep Christian faith, whose love for God was at the center of her life. She lovingly taught her children and grandchildren the importance of faith, prayer, family, and trusting in the Lord. Her devotion to God was reflected in the way she cared for and loved those around her.
She was a devoted mother to her six children: Maria (Javier) Torres, Elizabeth (Jose) Morales, Paula (Roy) Abrego, Pablo (Socorro) Garza III, Gilbert (Teresa) Garza, and Cristina (Bernardo) Saenz III. Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was especially known for the love and care she gave to her grandchildren, often babysitting them and creating precious memories that they will carry in their hearts forever.
Mrs. Garza found happiness in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved flowers and gardening, playing lotería, crocheting, sewing, arts and crafts, watching novelas, celebrating Christmas, and spending time with her family. She was also a devoted pet lover. Her home was a place where family gathered, where traditions were celebrated, and where her warmth and love could always be felt.
She is survived by her six children, her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her beloved siblings: Ester (Octavio) Contreras, Susana Perez, Ricardo (Blanca) Navarro Jr., Hector (Yolanda) Navarro, Gregorio (Reyna) Navarro, and Teodorita Rosales, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Mrs. Garza was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Maria Crucita Navarro and Ricardo Navarro.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that her faith has carried her home to the Lord she loved and served throughout her life. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her love, prayers, teachings, and beautiful memories will live on through the generations she leaves behind.
“Her children arise and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28
