Born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, she lived in Alamo, Texas her childhood. After graduating from PSJA Memorial Early College High School in 2004, she lived in Florida, New York, and Austin. Tania enjoyed performing arts, acting, dancing, playing tennis, playing poker, and spending quality time with her family. She would always look at the bright side of things and stay positive. She attended The University of Texas at Austin; she was smart, sarcastic, silly and outgoing her friendly personality contributed to her success. Her beautiful smile will always be remembered. Ms. Aguirre charming unique charisma and kind heart leaves memories that are going to live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Although a star will fade in the sand it will forever shine bright in the sky.

She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile even if she was sad. No, she wasn’t beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul.”
She is survived by her mother, Esperanza Barrera; two siblings, Katya Cantu, Fidencio Barrera; one niece, Konnie Cantu; two nephews, Omar Cantu, Eddie Cantu; an aunt, Maricruz Mendoza; and two cousins, Vladimir Gaytan, Nahyeli Martinez; numerous family members.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Funeral Del Angel Palm Valley. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Nacida en Monterrey, Nuevo León, Tania vivió en Álamo, Texas su infancia; después de graduar de PSJA Memorial Early College High School en 2004, vivió en Florida, New York City y Austin. Tania disfrutaba del teatro, bailar, jugar tenis, jugar póker, y pasar tiempo con su familia. En su tiempo libre le gustaba salir a disfrutar con amistades. Ella siempre veía el lado positivo de los sucesos, Tania mantenía su frente en alto siendo positiva ante cualquier situación con sarcasmo y fe. Tania asistió a la Universidad de Texas en Austin donde su inteligencia y carisma la ayudaron a sobresalir con triunfo. Por su inolvidable sonrisa y buen corazón Tania deja recuerdos que vivirán por siempre en el corazón de su familia y amigos.

La visitación se realizará el miércoles, 10 de junio de 2020, de las 2:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. con un rosario a las 7 p.m. en Funeraria del Ángel Palm Valley en Pharr. Un servicio católico se llevará acabo a las 2:00 p.m. el jueves, 11 de junio de 2020, en Funeraria del Ángel Palm Valley en Pharr. El sepelio continuara en el cementerio Val Verde Memorial Gardens en Donna.
