

Agnes E. Clark, 77, of Phenix City, AL. died Saturday March 31, 2012 in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am EST Tuesday April 3rd in the chapel of Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N,
Phenix City, AL. 36867 . Her son-in-law, the Reverend DeWayne Dean will officiate. Interment will be Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clark was born July 26, 1934 in Brundidge, AL. daughter of the late
Clarence Ellis and Quillie Lee Holland Ellis. She was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Phenix City and the Southern Gospel Association. Mrs. Clark was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning after
more than 22 years of service. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clark, Sr., a daughter, Susan Clark, brother, James Ellis, sister, Pearl Burroughs and granddaughter Kimberly Cutts.
Survivors include sons, Keith Cutts and Ray Clark, daughter, Carla Dean and husband, DeWayne, brother, Bobby Ellis and wife Betty, sister, Donnie Ellis, grandchildren, Chris, Michelle, Chad, Brandon, Kelsie, Kaila, Katlin, and Ahmelia, great grandchildren, Chandler, Joshua and Justice, daughters-in-law, Lisa Clark and Linda Perry, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
