Betty Lou Cody, 74 of Seale, AL passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. EST Monday, November 5, 2012 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431/280 W, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cody was born April 19, 1938 in Mariana, Florida, daughter of the late James and Careen Bodiford. She was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning, GA. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leon Bodiford.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby O. Cody of Seale, AL, sons, Jimmy Laramore of Panama City, FL, Richard Laramore of Phenix City, AL, sisters, Margaret Warren and Faye Bailey of Blountstown, FL, Janice Branch of Sneads, FL, brother, Carroll Bodiford of Blountstown, FL, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
