Betty Jean Isbell, 79 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Tuesday December 30, 2014 in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 3, 2015 at Woodland Baptist Church in Phenix City, Al with Rev. Junior White officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. The family wil receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Ms. Isbell was born July 6, 1935 in Franklin, North Carolina; daughter of the late William Jasper and Leona Teaque McCall. She was a homemaker, a member of Silver Run Baptist Church and a faithful follower of Rev. Billy Graham Ministries. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her great grandson, Zachary Jonah Arnold.
Survivors include her children, Michael Kelvin Brooks, Yolanda Lynn Miles, Darryan Kent Brooks, Sonja Leigh Bell, Sabryna Lore' Wells, Carrie Ann Johnson, sister, Frances Farmer, 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
